37 Weeks

Full Term!! Okay, apparently they changed it and now it's considered "Early Term". Full Term is now at 39 weeks.

How Far Along? 37 Weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 24 lbs 

Stretch Marks: Nope

Labor Signs: I went into labor Saturday night at 36 weeks 5 days. Contractions started about 12 mins apart and increased in strength and frequency until 2-5 mins apart. I called the dr and went into L&D. When they checked me I was 1 cm dilated, 50% effaced and -2 station. The contractions continued to get stronger and more painful but for some reason I didn't dilate so they sent me home. They continued throughout the night and all through the next day (Mother's Day). Sunday evening they finally died down. I went in for my appt this morning and I haven't changed. I did lose my mucus plug over the weekend as well. 

Movement: Less movement but plenty of hiccups. It must be pretty cramped in there!

Food Cravings: Hat Creek Burger. I grew up a vegetarian and could probably count on one hand the amount of hamburgers I have eaten in my life but for some reason I really craved this and had one today. :)

Anything Make you Queasy or Sick? Just waiting too long to eat. The morning sickness is still gone. YAY!

Happy or Moody: I've definitely had more mood swings this week. Mostly just from impatience whether it's at the doctor's office or hospital. Some of the video's Avelyn watches on YouTube drive me craaazzzzyyyyy (Disney Surprise Eggs anyone)!

OBGYN Appt: We got to see baby Isla today in her final anatomy ultrasound. They calculated that she weighs 6lbs 4oz which is right on track. Avelyn was 6 lbs 14 oz when she was born so they guess that Isla will be about the same. Avelyn was also 20" long and has always been in higher height percentiles so I wonder if Isla will take after her or be short like me. 

We got to see her face today and her mouth is identical to Avelyn's which I think is so adorable. In her last ultrasound (at 20 weeks) her facial profile was just like mine but the one we saw today was another Brandon. I married 1 and got 3! :) I can't wait to meet her and see her cute little face up close!! C'mon baby!!

I have finished nesting. The house is clean, her clothes are washed, her carseat is ready! I packed my hospital bag and the hubs has too. We are ready when she is!
