Okay, where to begin? We MOVED! Yup! My hubby was amazing during this process. He packed up all our stuff and did a lot of it all by himself. We were lucky to have his friend Chris and my brother David to come help too! After the move, my insomnia set in. I think it was combination of pregnancy and being in an unfamiliar place. But it worked out great because I was up all night unpacking everything! I called myself the fairy godmother because every morning my hubby would wake up and see so much done. After I finished unpacking, I started cleaning and doing laundry. All of Avelyns clothes size N-3months are washed and put away!
We had the most fun double date with our friends Kara and James at Main Event. B and I hadn't been back there since our first date almost two years ago! It was even better because our "Fun Cards" still had a $50 balance on them. We bowled and played some arcade games. In hind sight, I overdid it, but at the time we were having so much fun! That night around 3 am, I woke up to some pretty bad "stomach cramping". I thought maybe I had food poisoning. I was so nauseaus! I took a bath and tried to relax. The cramping got worse over the hours and I started noticing a pattern, these were contractions! Around 5 am, the pain was so severe I was crying when the contraction would hit and couldn't talk or move until it was over. I called the hospital and they told me to come in and get checked.
I had to wake up B, who seemed to move at the pace of a snail...brushing his teeth etc. Clearly, he had no idea how much pain I was actually in and I couldn't tell him because I couldn't talk. What seemed like hours later (though it was probably 30 mins), we arrived at the hospital. They hooked me up to the monitors and saw the contractions coming about 5-6 mins apart. These were about 50x worse than the ones I had experienced previously. My Dr happened to be there so he came in and checked on me. Avelyn was still in breech position and my Dr wanted her to stay in a little longer so they hooked me up to the IV and got some stuff in me to stop the contractions. Whew!
That happened at 34.5 weeks and Avelyn has since flipped around (yayyyy!!). My Doc says he wont stop my labor again. So now, if that happens, she is coming!
We took our maternity pics with Abby (Abby G Photography..also our wedding/engagement photographer and AMAZING)! Seriously, this woman can work miracles. I haven't gotten the pics back yet aside from a few sneak peaks but I will share them when I do.
B is back at work on his ship as of this morning and I am furiously trying to get the rest of the nursery done before Christmas. I still need to pick the fabric for the crib bumper, skirt, curtains, throw pillow as well as make the mobile. Today is one of my last days of school and I can't wait to be done. I am so tired all the time! I want to do so much, but I just get wiped out so easily.

How far along? 36 (1/2) Weeks
Total weight gain/loss? 40 lbs..whatever..
Maternity clothes? if it stretches over this belly I will wear it...B's clothes, Maternity clothes, pajamas..yup IM THAT LADY
Stretch marks? Still just those few on my right hip...fingers still crossed
Sleep? it is so unfair but I have insomnia already..I go to sleep at midnight, wake up between 3:30 and 4:30..sometimes I can go back to sleep at 7 or 8 for an extra hour or two
Best moment last week? getting my Medela Breast Pump from my mil, Pamela..yayy!!! its amazing!
Movement? Her moves are less strong now..she is definitely running out of room in there
Food cravings? Apple Cider
Gender? A sweet baby GIRL!
Labor signs? still 50% effaced and closed as of my last appointment
Belly button in/out? half innie half outtie..getting flatter though!
What I miss: COFFEE!! and a Full night's sleep..although that is probably gone for quite some time anyway..
What I am looking forward to: I just can't wait to hold her and see her! It's amazing how much you can love someone you've never met...I think about her birthday all the time!! CanNOT wait!
