Celebrating Fall!

Fall has officially arrived! Not that you would know that from yesterday's heat. Brandon and I both got sunburns. Yesterday we decided to go to Sweet Berry Farm in Marble Falls.

Of course, since we were in Marble Falls we had to stop at Bluebonnet Cafe! I'm not usually a food picture-takerer so I didn't think to snap pics but man oh man was it delicious! Especially the chocolate cream pie I had for dessert.

We weren't sure what all to start with at the farm since they had so many choices. I know how much Avelyn loves animals so we decided to buy some goat food and feed them. I will never forget this experience. She started laughing like I had never heard before...like big big belly laughs. She would've fallen over if I wasn't holding her!

At one point, there was a small circle of people around her just watching her laugh like that. It was precious. 

What wasn't so cute was the mini-meltdown she had when we decided to finally move on from the goats. Oh boy, I have seen a hint of what we are in for later! But, since she is only 9 months old, we gave in and let her stay a bit longer.

We decided to roam around and pick pumpkins together.

It was so hot y'all! We paid for the pumpkins and cooled off with a farm-fresh strawberry popsicle.

We took the short walk to the other side of the farm for a hayride and fresh flower picking.

The hayride was so much more than I expected! There were probably 20-30 different scenes made out of scarecrows. Here are a few of our favorites!

It was a perfect day! If you live in central Texas this is a must-see! Although, I do recommend going after the cold front comes through. ;)
